Realisation:

. The Panasonic digital camera brand LUMIX invites users to participate in an online photo contest for the fourth time in a row
. The topic of the Lumix Award 2009: "Visualise Music"
. Every user who likes taking photos can take his own picture according to the contest's topic and upload it on the website
. The winners are voted by a jury of experts and receive prizes from the LUMIX product line-up
. Not only the uploaded photos present the topics of music and sound - the look of the website and its navigation structure are also making the topic of music experienceable: A kind of "equalizer" is showed on the screen and gets filled with more and more user pictures
. Thus, the website is always changing and stays vivid until the last day of the competition

Design:

. Following the look of a sound equalizer, the photos on the homepage are strung as little thumbnails
. The violet colour dominates the complete website, thus making it unique in the Panasonic setting and providing a high recognition value
. An especially designed ambient sound accompanies the user through the whole web presence
