One the most frequently visited websites for the German-speaking areas has been given a complete makeover, thanks to Scholz & Volkmer. A new interpretation of the company’s corporate design served as the basis for completely modernizing Deutsche Bahn’s digital presence. The clear design improves the accessibility on tablets and enhances the handling with touch gestures. As a starting point, the start page and journey search have been optimized for quick and easy access to booking. This new design is the basis for the 200-page style guide document, which will simplify the next steps. In future the Deutsche Bahn will be able to use this modular concept with the contents of the start page and in the booking process.
