Schirn Digitorial "Art for All – The Coloured Woodcut in Vienna around 1900“

A Stronghold for Artists

“Art for All“, is the title of the current exhibition at the Schirn Art Gallery in Frankfurt. The way that coloured woodcuts encouraged the popularisation of art in Vienna at the turn of the century is conveyed today via the interactive Digitorial, giving new target groups access to creative art. Various works are presented, as ever, in an entertaining and accessible way. The focus is on the variation of the coloured woodcuts. Our new Digitorial looks at the reproduction technique and shows the process from its origins to the modern day.
